As per a neuroscientists, apparently your diet can also contribute to ageing. TikToker @robertwblove, who is a neuroscientist shared how eating certain foods could be ageing you.
Studies have already shown that certain problems during adolescence can increase the ageing process, and even some skincare habits could be ageing you faster. With the latest video, we now have even more things to add on to the 'not to do' pile, when it comes to ageing!
The foods that are ageing you
Here are the foods that could be making you look older than you are, as per the TikTok creator.
The first food we should be avoiding as per Robert is soda. He explains,
Soda has a lot of sugar in it and no fiber, and so when you drink it it spikes your blood sugar really high
The second food is everyone's favouriteFrench fries. He calls this one a 'double whammy,'
Dehydration is one of the primary causes of premature aging of the skin, of wrinkling, and so forth.
You want to make sure that you're well hydrated.
The Sun reports that the last food you should be avoiding to stay looking fresh and young, as per the TikToker, are hot dogs. He explains in a different video,
Hot dogs have preservatives in them that dehydrate you and dehydrate the skin

Maintaining a youthful appearance might be considered a fool's errand, and some people choose to embrace graceful ageing, rather than spending time and energy trying to delay it. However, these 'ageing food' list could be appreciated as advice on foods that affects skin health, and considering many of the foods mentioned are processed, it could be a great idea.
