A group of this year’s Winter Love Islanders – including winners Finnley Tapp and Paige Turley – got together this weekend as bars and restaurants across the country reopened following the coronavirus lockdown. The Islanders celebrated their reunion with shots and dinner.
As bars, pubs and restaurants reopened across the country this Saturday, several of this year’s Islanders were among those taking advantage of the lockdown easing. Winners Paige and Finn met up with fellow couple Molly Smith and Callum Jones, as well as singletons Demi Jones, Jamie Clayton, Connor Durman and Natalia Zoppa.
The former Islanders met up at the Menagerie bar and restaurant in Manchester, where they indulged in a celebratory tray of orange shots. As well as the easing of lockdown restrictions, they were also celebrating Casa Amor star Natalia’s 21st birthday, with former love rival Demi dubbing her an ‘absolute worldie’.
Callum Jones and Molly Smith looked seriously loved up as they arrived. The couple were initially unpopular with viewers and didn’t make it to the final after Callum betrayed fan favourite Shaughna to couple up with Molly in Casa Amor. However, now that they’re living together and still going strong, it seems that Callum really was following his heart after all.
Paige and Finn, who recently moved to Manchester after spending most of lockdown in Scotland with Paige’s family, took a booth on their own for some one-to-one time before joining the rest of their former Love Island castmates.
Whilst this mini-reunion was only filmed for Instagram, ITV are reportedly planning a special Love Island reunion series to be aired this summer. The Gogglebox-style shows are set to reunite some of our favourite Islanders from previous series – and sparks are sure to fly as they watch back some of their most iconic moments!
