Each recoupling ceremony sees islanders prepare their own speeches to their chosen islanders, professing their feelings which often involve a “strong connection” they have found within their fellow contestant a connection so strong that they have not experienced anything like it before.

With this in mind, it’s no surprise that once on the outside there’s a tendency for couples to rapidly fall apart due to a combination of newfound pressures as well as a lack of commitment or the lure of a £50,000 prize fund.

One couple supposedly destined for failure is that of Chris Taylor and Harley Brash according to body language expert, Judi James who believes that Harley is not as into Chris as she makes out.

“In bed she wore more clothes than she did during the day, and responded to his tender forehead kiss with what looks like a closed-eye rejection or even an expression that could suggest boredom.”
