After a rocky start, the nation fully fell in love with Siânnise Fudge on this year's first ever series of Winter Love Island - and so did fellow Islander Luke Trotman. After coupling up on Day 18, Luke and Siânnise finished second in the public vote, narrowly missing out on the win to Paige Turley and Finnley Tapp.

And the loved-up couple's bond seems to have strengthened even more since leaving the villa as they've barely spent a moment apart. With the Coronavirus crisis forcing everyone to self-isolate, Siânnise has moved in with Luke's family in Luton so they can stay together.

However, Siânnise and Luke have now revealed that they were in the process of buying their own home together before the pandemic hit. Giving fans an update on their lives in a new YouTube video, the couple admitted that losing work has had a big impact on them.

In the video, Luke, who is now planning to continue with his degree, said:

In terms of us, we actually put a deposit down on a house and then some of our quite big work got cancelled because of corona, so we had to cancel our house. Everything has been put on hold at the minute.

However, always one to look on the bright side, Siânnise chimed in:

We've just got to look forward to better days. We're all in the same boat, as long as we're all staying positive and keeping ourselves busy, then we're all good.
