It's official - the current series of Love Island USA will feature Casa Amor! Viewers were disappointed when the first US series last year didn't feature the popular challenge but the show has now revealed that they'll be sending ten sexy new singletons into the mix to stir things up and turn some heads...
Love Island US season 2 started airing on Monday night in the UK. But across the pond the show has been airing for two weeks now - and just as they're getting settled into their couplings, the Islanders are about to face one of the toughest reality TV tests out there - the legendary Casa Amor.
The twist, which will air on Tuesday in the US but not for another two weeks in the UK, will see the five OG boys sent to a new villa - Casa Amor - whilst the girls stay put and welcome five sexy new lads. After spending time with the newbies, each of the OG Islanders will have to decide whether to stay loyal to their original partner or recouple with someone else.
UK viewers know that Casa Amor has led to some of the most dramatic moments in Love Island history - and it's been a staple of the show since it first appeared way back in series 3. From Josh Denzel pieing Georgia Steel back in 2018 to Callum’s brutal betrayal of fan favourite Shaughna this January, it always brings plenty of drama - and we’re sure this series will be no exception.
So who are the ten new Islanders heading into the villa? First up, the girls, who’ll be heading to the new Casa Amor villa with the guys: 24-year-old GiNiele Reitzell from California, 26-year-old Kansas girl Faith Tyrell, Sher Suarez, 22, from Miami, Laurel Goldman, also 22, from Alabama, and 26-year-old Mercades Schell from New Mexico.
Meanwhile, the OG girls will be playing host to five new guys in the original villa on top of the Cromwell hotel. The lucky lads are: 26-year-old Aaron Owen from Nevada, Jalen Noble, 27, from Tennessee, 26-year-old Mike Jenkerson from California, 25-year-old De'Andre Heath from Miami, and Pat Albasha, 28, from California.
