Whilst the Love Islanders are in the villa 24/7, the show only airs for one hour every night – so it’s natural that there are plenty of goings-on that we viewers never get to see. Although producers obviously do their best to include the juiciest moments in the final cut, Paige Turley has confirmed that at least one argument was cut from this winter’s series.

Taking part in a Reddit AMA (Ask Me Anything) chat this week with boyfriend and fellow winner Finnley Tapp, Paige was asked by one Love Island superfan ‘What happened between Demi and Alexi (Biggs from Casa Amor mentioned that apparently they had a fight in the villa) ?’
Paige quickly responded to confirm the argument, although she played down the significance of the fight: ‘Demi and Alexi – the guys had a slight disagreement about sleeping arrangements… it was nothing but a misunderstanding however we were tight for beds.’
In case you need your memory jogging, butler-in-the-buff Alexi was one of the six new boys to enter Casa Amor on Day 23 of the show. Whilst he took a shine to Demi, her heart was fully set on staying loyal to Nas Majeed – which proved to be a mistake when he betrayed her for now-girlfriend Eva Zapico – and Alexi was dumped from the villa after just three days.
Whilst Demi went on to couple up with fan favourite Luke Mabbott and finish third-place on the show, she is now single again after splitting from Luke during lockdown. Meanwhile, Alexi appears to have stayed single since his appearance on the show – maybe there’s still hope for these two crazy kids yet!?
