Ovie Soko Is Getting His Very Own Show

Popular 2019 Love Islander Ovie Soko is to star in his very own TV show on the BBC. The documentary, entitled Ovie: Life After Reality TV, will see Ovie decide whether to pursue a future in reality stardom or go back to concentrating on his basketball career.

Ovie Soko TV show!? Yes, you did hear us right. Possibly the greatest Love Islander in history, none other than Ovie Soko is getting his very own TV show! It's a BBC 3 documentary entitled Ovie: Life After Reality TV.

The show will see Ovie weigh up the pros and cons of making a living out of being in the public eye. He'll speak to other reality stars including Geordie Shore's Vicky Pattison and TOWIE's Mario Falcone about their personal experiences of being in the spotlight.

Whilst we're sure there'll be some laughs along the way, the documentary will have a serious edge to it as Mario and other guests will open up about the negative effects the reality TV industry can have on stars' mental health.

The BBC press release sums the show up saying:

Reality TV offers life changing money and opportunities but it comes with risks and sacrifices. As Ovie wrestles with his decision about how to make his next move, he discovers what it takes to succeed in the industry and what’s really at stake when people play the reality TV game.

It sounds like this is going to be a really fascinating watch - and not just because Ovie's in it! There's no word yet when Ovie's new TV show will be coming to our screens - but you can guarantee we'll be tuning in when it does.
