Love Island: Liam and Millie

Although their relationship was left in tatters after Liam’s Casa Amor betrayal, Millie and Liam managed to patch things up and their relationship has gone from strength to strength in the past few weeks. On Monday, they were named the winners of Love Island 2021 and Liam officially asked Millie to be his girlfriend.

Liam and Millie talk marriage and kids

But it sounds like there could be an even bigger question on his mind soon, as the couple discussed plans to get married and have children in their first interview since leaving the villa. Millie told The Sun:

We’re both very family orientated. We both want kids. We both want to get married.

And it sounds like 22-year-old Liam definitely has the same mindset, as he confirmed:

To have children one day is something I really want. I said I wanted three children. I’ve had an amazing upbringing, my family being so loving. I just want to give that to my children.

However, they won’t be using the £50,000 prize money to splash out on a flashy wedding just yet. Instead, both Millie and Liam said they were planning to use the money to treat their families and friends back home to thank them for all their support. They’re also planning to show each other around their respective hometowns, with Liam planning a walk in the Welsh hills and a night out in Cardiff and Millie planning a night out at Sheesh.

First 2021 couple to get married

In fact, the couple reckon they won’t be the first 2021 Islanders to get hitched—despite winning the show. Instead, they reckon runners-up Toby and Chloe could surprise us all with a shock proposal. Liam said:

They are obsessed with each other. If Tobes popped the question today, I wouldn’t be surprised.
