ITV is bringing us a different Love Island this summer

We all know that Love Island has been cancelled this summer but ITV has something a little more up it's sleeve to satisfy viewers by bringing Love Island Australia to the UK.

We have all been desperate for a littleLove Island action and ITV has just the answer.Love Island Australiais going to be hitting UK screens from the 15th of June.

The decision to broadcast the series came after ITV pulled it's UK summer season stating that it was:

Not possible to produce it in a way that safeguards the wellbeing of everyone involved.

The Australian version of the show is just two seasons old and is hosted and narrated by completely different faces. Actor, Sophie Monk is the Australian host in place of Laura Whitmore and narrating the showis Eoghan McDermott, let's hope he lives up the comedic gold of Iain Stirling.

Other than that, the series is still filmed in Majorca and the prize of the game is still the same, with the trailer teasing only the accents are different:

Bring on the Bombshells, the Bromances and a little bit of Naughty Naughty! It's the Love Island you love, just with a different accent. Bring it on!

The 2018 series serves us some earlyLove Island UKwhere the drama and explosive arguments are unmatched. ITV will be airing the show's first season on ITV2 and will be available for streaming online so stay off the internet if you don't want any spoilers. But we'll give you one hint: tall, dark and handsome is absolutely the go.
