The only thing that would better than eating Christmas pudding, gingerbread and mince pies at Christmas time, is watching your favourite baking show while you do so.
To make that happen,Great British Bake Off will be back in a week, gracing our screens once again for some very special holiday episodes.
Channel 4 has now confirmed that the Great British Bake Offwill be back on the 24th of December at 7:40pm and again just after New Years on January 3rd at 7.45pm.
And joining the show’s famous judges and hosts will be a mix of familiar faces, as ex-competitors will be in the tent to either defend their title or take another chance at it.
Returning for the Christmas special is none other than 2017’s James Hillery, last year’s Jamie Finn and Rosie Brandreth-Poynter as well as 2018 finalist, Ruby Bhogal.
Meanwhile, those who also tune in on the 3rd of January will be greeted with last season’s Helena Garcia and Henry Bird, as well as 2014 winner Nancy Birtwhistle and 2018 winner Rahul Mandal.
Great British Bake Off’s Christmas episode will also see comedian Tom Allen stepping in for Noel Fielding as well as Alexandra Burke who will be singing a beautiful rendition of Silent Night.
But, Noel will indeed be back for the New Year’s episode to once again cause mayhem in the tent alongside co-host Matt Lucas.
Looks like a Christmas special of GBBOis something we’ll all be adding to our festive celebrations.
I wonder who will make the best Yule log?
