However, if you’re looking to hear a sneaky innuendo about dough balls then you’re in for a treat as Channel 4 is airing an extra special episode of the show tonight (Tuesday, December 1st).

The sweet treat episode is aptly titledGreat British Bake Off Best Bits and is poised to be a look back over the last ten years of the show.

So no doubt we will be looking forward to once again reliving the Baked Alaska Gate, Nadiya Hussain’s winning speech and basically, anything Selasi Gbormittah and Rahul Mandal did and said.

Announcing the special episode on Twitter, the Great British Bake Off teased:

Missing the Bake Off Tent already? Fear not, as we're back for a scrumptious feast of Best Bits from the last 10 years of the show! Join us on Tuesday at 8pm on @Channel4 to tuck in. #GBBO

The special episode will air as usual on Channel 4 at 8pm and it’s safe to say that baking fanatics everywhere are excited for it. One viewer commented:

Looks like we have one more week of Tuesday Treats

While another chimed in with joy stating ‘always excited for more cake’.

Not one but two festive specials

Fans will also be excited to know that this year we will be treated to not just one but two seasons ofGreat British Bake Off Festive Specials one at Christmas and one at New Years!

Taking part in the Christmas special will be previous 2019 contestants Rosie Brandreth-Poynter and Jamie Finn, who will be going up against 2018 and 2017 contestants Ruby Bhogal and James Hillery.

Meanwhile, more previousBake Off heroes Helena Garcia, Henry Bird, Nancy Birtwhistle and Rahul Mandal will be battling it out once again at New Years.

Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood will also be judging the two specials but there will be a slight change in the host line-up for Christmas as Noel Fielding has announced he will be taking the time off to spend with his family.

Fielding is expected to return for the New Years episode but in the meantime, he’ll be replaced by comedian Tom Allen...sounds like a hoot!
