In the picture, Meghan is holding up a grinning Lilibet, who was named after the Queen. Meanwhile, Harry wears tattered jeans and no shoes as he holds his two-year-old son Archie. The father-son duo has a shock of red hair. The message on their card says,

Happy Holidays. This year, 2021, we welcomed our daughter, Lilibet, to the world. Archie made us a ‘Mama’ and a ‘Papa’, and Lili made us a family.

However, there are hidden signs in the couple’s photo that people may not have realised. Let’s take a look!

Happy holidays

The couple decided to address the card saying ‘Happy Holidays’ which is a rather American way of festive greeting. Britishers usually go for ‘Merry Christmas.’ Hence, the lingo reveals that the family is totally immersed in their American dream after relocating to California. Prince Harry is also seen speaking in more of an American way.

Bare feet

Harry, Archie, and Lillibet are all photographed without shoes in the laid-back photo. While it is normal for the children to wear their toes out, it is unusual for a prim and proper royal to do so. However, as Harry has given up his title and all his royal duties, the barefoot snap is a homage to a beachy, Californian lifestyle that is entirely different from Buckingham Palace’s vibes.

Matching denim

Both Harry and Meghan wore identical denim in the photo. Harry even went over and beyond with what appears to be a denim-style shirt. The corny choice suggests that the Sussexes are as united as they can be.

Diana’s bracelet

The beaded bracelet that Harry is wearing was bought by the Duke of Sussex during a trip to Africa shortly after his mother Princess Diana died, and he has come to link it with her. Harry mentioned in a recent interview that he first visited Africa after his mother died, and that he has since been a champion for some of the things she was passionate about across the continent.

Wedding photographer

The adorable snap for the family Christmas card was taken by Alexi Lubomirski, who was also their wedding photographer. Alexi assisted Princess Diana's trusty friend and photographer Mario Testino, who was behind the lens for some of her most exquisite photos. He is recognised for shooting calm, natural laid-back shots, further showing acceptance of the family to their Californian lifestyle.
