As reported by CNBC, earlier this week a Tweet went viral, which stated that the fan favourite McDonald’s all-day breakfast was going to be returning this October. This led to McDonald’s fans getting super hyped and hopeful for its grand return.

However, in some terrible news, turns out that the rumours are actually not true and a McDonald’s spokesperson has clarified that their all-day breakfast would indeed not be returning.

The rumours made way after a Twitter user tweeted the screenshot of a McDonald’s press release about serving all-day breakfast items from 6 October.
The Tweet was greeted with widespread applause with fans eager to indulge in their favourite McDonald’s breakfast all day. But in an unfortunate twist, the press release actually turned out to be from 2015, when the all-day breakfast menu was first introduced.
When will McDonald’s all-day breakfast return?
For now it does not seem likely that the company would be bringing back its all-day breakfast anytime soon. As per CNBC, this is due to logistical reasons since the company has been under pressure from their operators to cut back on all-day breakfast items so that they can improve their service speed.
