Even before the Covid scandals, the former PM seems to have had it all: extramarital affairs, questionable political favours given to various women, and even court proceedings to establish his fatherhood of some of the children.

No wonder Boris Johnson is often compared to Donald Trump whose love life too made global headlines.

In spring 2023, it was revealed that Boris' wife Carrie Johnson was pregnant with their third child, and she had the baby in summer.

Although the politician famously diverts questions about his family, many believe that he has several children born outside his marriage with Marina Wheeler and his current union.

How many heirs does he really have?

Boris Johnson played a key role in British politics in recent years. He became the leader of the Conservative Party in July 2019 and won the general election in December 2019.

While he was dealing with Brexit and the pandemic during the time, there were quite a few changes in his private life.

Allegedly ‘kicked out’ by his wife of 27 years Marina Wheeler over adultery - something she reportedly endured a lot during their marital life - he moved on to marry Carrie Symonds.

The couple have three children together - Wilfred Lawrie Nicholas Johnson, Romy Iris Charlotte Johnson and Frank Alfred Odysseus Johnson.

How many children does Boris Johnson have with other women?

During his resignation speech in July 2022, Boris Johnson thanked his wife Carrie and ‘all of my children’, however, the exact number of offspring the former prime minister has remained unclear as he has never officially denied or confirmed it.

Some allege that the total amount is eight, and the new baby is the ninth.

What is known is that Boris Johnson and his second wife, Marina Wheeler, who separated in 2018 and divorced in 2020, have four children together: Lara Lettice, 27, Milo Arthur, 25, Cassia Peaches, 23, and Theodore Apollo, 21.

Other officially confirmed children include the ones he shares with his wife Carrie.

It has been established that Boris Johnson also has at least one more child, Stephanie Macintyre, who was fathered as a result of an affair with art consultant Helen Macintyre.

During the court proceedings, it was alleged that Stephanie Macintyre was one of two children born as a result of that relationship.

The Appeal Court ruled in 2013 that the public had a right to know that he had fathered a daughter during an adulterous liaison while Mayor of London in 2009.

That brings the verifiable number of Boris Johnson’s children to eight and possibly nine, with this summer's recent addition.
