The excitement began when Cruz Beckham, now 21, shared a selfie on Instagram showing his mother in the recording booth. In the background? The unmistakable beat of “Wannabe”, a song that defined an era.
Fans were quick to notice the generational collaboration brewing, with Cruz encouraging Victoria’s return to music and sparking a wave of nostalgia online. While Victoria’s main focus shifted to fashion after the Spice Girls, this glimpse into the studio sent her supporters into a frenzy, yearning for more.

Reflecting on her pop past in an interview with Andy Cohen on Sirius XM in October 2025, Victoria said, “Before I was in the Spice Girls, I was so self-conscious, and they made me feel that I was good enough.”
She admitted, “But being on stage, I realised as fun as it is, you know, it’s not ultimately what I want to do anymore.” Always open about her nerves, Victoria joked, “I don’t know if I could even still sing. I mean, I was never that great. It would be tempting. But could I take on a world tour? No I can’t. I have a job…”
These words didn’t stop speculation, especially after her family singalong with fellow Spice Girls—Mel B, Geri Halliwell, Mel C, and Emma Bunton—streamed from her London home in February 2026.
Fans want more than a box set as anniversary plans shift
No Spice Girls story is complete without drama. Plans for a 30th anniversary world tour fizzled out in March 2026 after disagreements between members. Rumours of a Netflix special withered.
Instead, fans get “The Singles Collection,” a box set coming on 6 November 2026. The collector’s bundle tops out at £277.99 for the 7" vinyl and CD bundle with poster and stickers. The 14-CD box set is priced at £94.99.
It will contain unreleased tracks and demos, as well as birthday messages written by each of the five members.
