It’s been a couple of months now since Love Island 2019 wrapped up and we’ve already seen several of this year’s couples bite the dust – including winners Amber Gill and Greg O’Shea, who brutally dumped the stunning Geordie over text. But the next series is now just three short months away and the next lot of sexy singletons are already being lined up…

According to TV sources, ITV2 has lined up ‘the next Tommy Fury’ for winter Love Island by casting Scottish model Jay Munro to enter the villa. Jay is an ex-footballer who now works as a male model and has a big profile in Australia after featuring on the Down Under version of The Voice – although not as a singer…

Jay, who is 22 years old, landed a job opening the door for hopeful auditionees and soon went viral on Australian social media as he became known as ‘the hot door pusher’- a moniker that has garnered him over 50,000 followers on Instagram already – a number we can only see rising when he goes on to enter the villa!

Producers reportedly considered Jay for the 2019 summer series but ended up deciding to hold him back to heat up the winter edition. A source told The Sun: ‘Jay will be the one all the girls will be chasing. Just like Tommy Fury, he’s a sportsman, in good shape and has dreamy looks.’

If you could see yourself coupling up and doing bits with Jay, then you’ve still got a chance to appear on winter Love Island – as applications are open until November 30th. You’ll have to be free in January and happy to jet off to South Africa for a few weeks for some winter sun… sounds like win-win to us!
