After tragically passing away last summer, an inquest has finally revealed the cause of death of Love Island's Sophie Gradon.
The second series of Love Island back in 2016 introduced us to Sophie Gradon, who went down as the first Islander who was in a same-sex coupling. Despite her not going on to win the series, many fans loved her for her courage to come out openly as a bisexual on television.
Ever since the series ended, she has been quite vocal about the harassment and cyber bullying she endured, even appearing live on television to talk about her struggle.
Tragically, the Love Island star passed away on June 20, 2018. She was found dead in her parents' home.
As if this event wasn't tragic enough, her boyfriend Aaron Armstrong committed suicide just a couple weeks after her death. Investigators found large amounts of alcohol and cocaine in his system post-mortem.
Following an inquest, new details have been released revealing the cause of death of Sophie Gradon. The video above gives the tragic details. May she rest in peace.
