Love Island, the nation’s most-watched reality TV show, has been back on screens for a mere ten days yet one contestant has somehow already managed to be dramatically axed for reasons still to be revealed.

Sherif Lanre, the 20-year-old chef and rugby player, seemed to be settling into life in the villa, coupled up with love interest Anna Vakili before everything took a swift downward turn.
While there has been an incessant surge of speculation surrounding the surprise eviction, neither party has come forward to confirm a reason, however many fan theories point to a bust-up with island rival, Anton Danlyuk.
Sherif has since be pictured arriving back at his mum’s home in dreary South London, a far cry from the sun-kissed villa in Majorca, and though he has so far restrained from saying too much, his mother has jumped to his immediate defence.
Diana Rollanson-Williams has admitted to Mail Online, “I need to look at his Love Island code of conduct and I need to speak to him properly to find out what really happened” Moreover she stated, “He is a lovely, lovely young man, a great boy… He is not a fame chaser. He is not looking for fame.”
