Today saw the suspiciously swift departure of an island original and the public are devastated. Sherif Lanre, the 20-year-old chef and rugby player, was booted off the show for “breaking the rules”.

Among the rumours in circulation, it’s possible he had a bust up with fellow islander Anton over his current love interest Anna Vakili, he may have urinated in the bottle of Anton likely for the same reason, he may have smuggled in a phone in an attempt to organise a Croatian holiday with the lads or finally it has been hinted that he broke the rule on self-pleasuring based on the long periods spent in the shower.

Despite the wild rumours nothing has been confirmed and even Sherif’s mum has admitted she has no clue explaining, “I need to look at his code of conduct and I need to speak to him properly to find out what really happened.”

ITV2 bosses have spoken out to explain why Sherif Lanre will not be granted a spot on Caroline Flack’s spin-off show, Aftersun. Moreover two new bombshells are set to join the villa in tonight’s episode!
