Amidst all the romance however are sure to be some broken hearts and nobody knows this better than 26-year-old airhostess, Amy Hart, as she confronted the demise of her first break-up on-screen.
Speaking on her exit, Amy admitted, “I was in a horrible place over the last week, to be told that the gloves were off with Maura and I had to ‘brace myself’, like a storm. I knew I had to leave when I did.”
Amy revealed that the heartbreak led her to lose her appetite to the point where she “couldn’t do the challenged”. Looking back she said, “I felt so numb. I didn’t feel hungry.”
The ex-islander is confident that leaving was the right decision, especially in light of the lap dancing challenge last night; “If I saw that, I would have been beside myself. It would have been awful. If I’d stayed I would have brought everyone down.”
