Amber Gill, the 21-year-old beauty therapist from Newcastle, sparked public outrage not long ago when a snap resurfaced where she stated, “First of all I don’t like black guys”.
Moreover, fans of the dating show were quick to point out the Geordie boasting about her “diva” antics as if to celebrate or promote it as a positive attribute.
Fans took to Twitter to give their two cents on the matter with one user fuming, “Amber GROW UP – ‘I’m a big diva’ – are you 15?” Even former islander Gabby Allen chimed in, “There’s a fine line between confidence and arrogance Amber.”
But despite the rough start, it appears the ‘diva’ has finally generated some positive reactions as she teaches girls everywhere to know their self-worth. This came after Tommy’s weak attempt to “graft even harder” to get her back on board.
After Tommy’s date with Lucie didn’t go to plan, he admitted in the beach hut that he would have to switch up love interest. “I’m going to get two shovels out now, to prove to (Amber) she wasn’t a second option.”
