Love Island, the nation’s most-watched reality TV show, is in great need of rescuing after recent events thrashed all hopes of happiness in the villa…or at least for the foreseeable future.

ITV bosses are keen to clear the murky dread lurking in the air from the previous recoupling ceremony with the help of some top tunes from the world famous singer, Craig David.

The recoupling saw the end of two relationships in the villa as Curtis admitted he had been lying to everyone, including Amy about what he really felt about the relationship, confirming he could not guarantee that his head wouldn’t be turned.

This has caused viewers to read into the fact that Curtis often went to sleep quick at night and was first up to do the coffee round instead of relaxing in bed with former love interest, Amy.

Last year’s contestants had the pleasure of partying with Tom Zinetti and while he was unable to get to know the islanders at the time, it led to a romance with ex-islander, Hayley Hughes when they met a few days after her exit while both appearing on This Morning.
