In December 2016, this donkey was saved from drowning in floods in County Kerry, Ireland. The organization 'Animal Heaven, Animal Rescue' searched for helpers on Facebook and formed a rescue team. The rescue operation was recorded in photos. Mike (the donkey) had a very unexpected and human-like reaction to his rescue.
