Princess Elizabeth married Philip Mountbatten, Duke of Edinburgh, 20th November 1947 in Westminster Abbey. Her dress was designed by Norman Hartnell and made of Chinese silk, with a high neckline, tailored bodice and a short train. It remains one of the most iconic looks in the history of royal fashion
