Lidl’s 10-week Garden Event continues next week with a walk-in greenhouse one of the products you’ll be able to find in that middle aisle.
Ever fancied growing your own fruit and veg but thought a greenhouse was well out of your price range? With its sturdy metal construction and tear resistant fabric, the Parkside Large Walk-In Greenhouse going on sale in the Middle of Lidl from April 1st could be just the thing for you.
Priced at just £39.99, the Parkside Large Walk-In Greenhouse is even cheaper than Aldi’s sell-out Gardenline Greenhouse which cost £49.99. Admittedly it is slightly smaller in width and diameter, but still features four levels per shelving unit, giving you plenty of space to get green-fingered.
What can you grow in a greenhouse?
There are plenty of different plants you can grow in a greenhouse, depending on the season. Not only will the cover help to regulate the temperature, it will also provide protection from pests. You could use it for tomatoes and cucumbers during the summer or salad in the late summer or early autumn.
What other garden products are in the Middle of Lidl?
Also coming to Lidl’s Gardening Event next week is a Parkside Electric Lawnmower for £79.99
and a Parkside Hand Scarifier and Hand Cultivator for £14.99 each. You can also pick up a Solar Animal Repeller for £9.99 or an Aquapur 54m Outdoor Rotary Clothes Airer for £39.99.
Meanwhile, over at competitors Aldi, the focus of their gardening Special Buys is more on outdoor entertaining. They’re selling a range of barbecues as well as a portable outdoor pizza oven for just
£39.99. Their sell-out £149.99 Hanging Egg Chair is also expected to come back into stock soon.
