Forget about Love Island, the new series of The Great British Bake Off is here and we couldn't be happier! Although it's still not quite the same without Mel and Sue and the queen of baking Mary Berry, last year Channel 4 proved that the show does still work without them - with Noel Fielding, Sandi Toksvig and Prue Leith taking up the reins as presenters and judge alongside Paul Hollywood.
Tonight, it's biscuit week. For their very first challenge, the contestants will be tasked with making 'signature biscuits that will say something both about them and a place in the British Isles' and Paul's take on wagon wheels for the technical. For the very first showstopper of the series, the 12 bakers will be creating 3D biscuit portraits - sounds amazing!
But before the new series starts tonight, we thought we'd take a look back at some of our favourite bakes from the previous series. From the delightfully detailed to the downright wacky, we've seen a bit of everything when it comes to showstoppers.
