As a child, she had to have her foot reattached to her knee… this is her today
Gabi Shull from Missouri is now 18-years-old and photographs of this young girl have been very popular on the internet. When she was 9 years old, Gabi fell on the ice whilst skating and after diagnosis, doctors discovered she had a type of bone cancer, known as osteosarcoma.
Thanks to surgery, her foot was reattached to the remainder of her leg at a 180-degree angle and she now uses a prosthetic that helps her in her daily life. And it’s incredible! Nowadays, she is still practising contemporary dance, hip hop and even tap dancing… but most importantly, she seems happier and is flourishing more than ever!
