When does Love Island 2021 start?

While the Love Island 2021 start date has been rumoured to be 28 June for quite some time now, ITV officially confirmed this today. This Morning presenters Holly Willoughby and Philip Schofield announced the news on Wednesday morning, with Holly exclaiming: This is exciting isn't it? Brilliant!

Meanwhile, theLove Island official Instagram also shared the news, writing:

A hot date for your diary: #LoveIsland returns to @itv2 and ITV Hub on Monday 28th June!

A number of former Love Islanders including Demi Jones, Biggs Chris, Gabby Allen, Arabella Chi, Rosie Williams and Wes Nelson all commented excitedly on the post.

Meanwhile, Winter Love Islander Ollie Williams—who walked out of the villa just a couple of days in—commented:

Would rather watch paint dry x.

Ollie claimed to have left Love Island because he had realised he was still in love with his ex-girlfriend but many suggested it was linked to the backlash he received when photos of him posing with dead animals emerged.
