When is Squid Game season 2 coming out?
The show was confirmed to make a comeback for season two by its creator Hwang Dong-Hyuk, earlier this year. As per Hollywood Life, season two will be filmed in 2023 and will likely be released a year after, in 2024.

What does the cast of season 2 look like?
Despite many of the fan-favorite characters dying in the show, there are rumors that some of them will be brought back. A lot of new characters as competitors will also be introduced as a result of many members of the cast dying in season two.
According to TV Guide, the lead Seong Gi-hun, who is Player 456 (Lee Jung-jae) and 'The Front Man' (Lee Byung-hun) is coming back for season two.
As per Hypebeast, there are rumors of Hong Kong actor Tony Leung featuring in season two of the show. The speculation started after his wife shared pictures of the actor sitting alongside director Hwang Dong-Hyuk, with the caption ‘Ready for Squid game?’. As of now, there have been no official reports on the actor’s involvement with the show. But this Instagram post might have unofficially confirmed the same.

The plot is said to be the same. A game of survival with millions of dollars to the winner. But season two is set to introduce a whole array of new games that are nothing short of deadly.
