I’m A Celeb bosses are pulling all strings to make this year’s series memorable. The rumoured list of celebs this year is both controversial and dramatic. After Kate Middleton’s uncle got rejected by the show bosses and Nigel Farage dilemma to be on the show, there’s another famous celebrity chef who’s set to appear on the show. However, there’s a catch.

Masterchef Grace Dent set to join I’m A Celeb lineup 2023

According to The Sun, Masterchef star Grace Dent is set to take part on the show after previously being the biggest critic of the show. The TV food critic branded the series ‘a puerile venture into starvation, televised constipation and animal cruelty, abbreviated by ads for Iceland £1 curries.’

Not only this, the 50-year-old confirmed she feels embarrassed to be watching the show. She said in 2012:

I snap my blinds firmly shut before settling down to watch I’m a Celeb, in fear the theme tune alone devalues my property.

However, in a surprising turn of events, Grace has signed a deal to be on the I’m A Celeb - hosted by Ant and Dec - worth up to £100,000. Her decision comes as a move set to boost her broadcasting career.

An insider revealed:

Masterchef fans know Grace for her withering put-downs of contestants’ food and disdain for anything less than stellar cooking.

But she’ll be eating humble pie in the jungle, surviving on rice and beans and taking part in Bushtucker trials.

This comes after Love Island 2022 winner Davide Sanclimenti revealed he wants to be on I’m A Celeb to ‘push himself.’ He confirmed that he’s a big fan of the show and his ‘dream’ would be ‘to be on an island alone and survive.’
