I’m A Celeb: Fans left ‘gutted’ after the first eviction

I’m A Celeb’s first eviction took place nearly two weeks after the show started. The hosts Ant and Dec revealed it was a close call between Coronation Street star Sue Cleaver and the Loose Women star Charlene White but ultimately, Charlene White became the first famous face to be eliminated from the show.

Fans are shocked

After Olivia Attwood was forced to quit the show on medical grounds, Charlene’s exit last night was rather unexpected. Shortly before leaving the camp, Charlene said:

I think this is a very, very special group. It's going to be weird as we start going down in number because it just won't be the same.

Thank you to all of you for giving me an experience that I will never ever ever, ever forget.

However, fans were left shocked over the eviction, reported Manchester Evening News. The viewers were quick to express their emotions. Right after the eviction, they took to social media and wrote:

What! #Charlene is a star. How could she be first out? Demand a recount. #ImACeleb.

I’m actually gutted Charlene went out, because after her earlier performance in the trial, I was looking forward to voting her in every night #ImACeleb.

While another two added:

Well Charlene said 'I'm a celebrity get me out of here!' This shows that you should be careful what you wish for, because your outta there! #ImACeleb.

Disappointed but not surprised Charlene has gone, the public have no taste! #ImACeleb.

Another chimed in:

First trial

Charlene’s eviction came moments after she was seen competing in her first Bushtucker trial Watery Grave alongside Boy George. The Loose Women star wasn’t able to complete the trial as well as she would’ve hoped. Just after the collection of two stars, Charlene called out the iconic words ‘I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here’ and the trail was over, just like that.
