Emily in Paris is one of the most highly-grossing American Netflix original shows in the romantic-comedy genre. After a successful second season which aired in December 2021, the show was announced to be back for season three.

Fans globally are thrilled at the prospect of watching Emily tackle her career and love life in season three. By displaying the best of France from an American perspective, it was no surprise that Netflix announced its renewal for the third and fourth seasons earlier this year.
As per Cosmopolitan, production for the new season started over the summer, and the new season should soon be ready for the world .
Release Date
After Netflix released a trailer for the show last month, a lot of speculation about the upcoming season has been put to rest. According to Elle, the third instalment, AKA season three, is set to release on the 21st of December, just in time for Christmas.
Cast
Lily Collins, the lead of the show and the co-producer, is, of course, back for the next season. Ashley Park, who plays the role of Mindy is also said to make a comeback, as per Digitalspy. Lucas Bravo, who plays Emily’s on-and-off love interest, Gabriel, is also confirmed to be back.
Actors such as Camille, Lucien Laviscount and all the actors who play Emily’s co-workers will also be returning. To sum up, you can expect to see pretty much all the main characters from the previous seasons.
Plot and storyline
Season two was left on a cliffhanger, making the viewers long for more. Season two had Emily choose between leaving Paris by accepting the new job offer with her ex-boss or staying and embracing the new life that she built there.
She is also stuck in a somewhat complex love triangle with Gabriel and Alfie, that she will have to maneuver through. And season three will address what she has planned for her future.
