Biggest Royal Christmas ever

Every family enjoys carrying out its unique customs over the Christmas season, and the royals are no different. They will return to the tradition of gathering at Sandringham House in Norfolk before making the 300-meter public stroll on Christmas morning.

The British Royal Family also often takes part in a sizable Christmas lunch and get-together in the weeks leading up to the big day itself before they go to Sandringham for their main celebrations later this week.

This year, the King will be hosting the 'biggest Royal Christmas' ever, which also marks the first time without the late Queen.

According to the Nottingham Post, even royal family members who don't often spend Christmas in Sandringham are also invited, allowing a chance for everyone to catch up.

Why is Prince Louis absent from the royal lunch?

No photos are allowed to be taken inside the event since it is private, however, I'm A Celeb's Mike Tindall, who is husband to the King's niece Zara Tindall, previously opened out about the gathering.

Even though they are invited to the occasion, youngsters like Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis don't sit with the other members of the royal family. Instead, they have a private space where they have their own special Christmas dinner.

On his rugby radio in 2019, former rugby player Mike discussed the festivities and provided some exciting insights. James Haskell and Alex Payne, two of his co-stars, inquired as to which of the seven tables he was seated at.

Do you find yourself upgrading every year and getting closer to the main table or are you off out the back?

Throughout the jokes, Mike remained quiet but afterwards said, ‘I was on Prince Charles's table, it was lovely’.

He then revealed that the royal children, including his children Mia, Lena, and Lucas, had a table of their own in a different chamber from the grownups.

This is the family lunch, there were seven tables so there must have been about 70 of us there.

Prince Louis to take lead role in Royal Stroll

Louis, meantime, will participate in the Christmas Day festivities with the royal family afterstealing the spotlight with his adorable cheekiness at the Queen's Platinum Jubilee in June. The four-year-old will accompany the family on their annual Christmas Day stroll to the church for the first time, reports the Mirror.
