Love Island's Ella Thomas takes a dig at other couples of her series who have split after the show

Love Island series 10 star Ella Thomas and boyfriend Tyrique Hyde are going strong still while many other couples from their series have split after the show.

Love Island series 10 was probably the most love-less series in the show’s history. Most of the couples formed on the show have split after its end - including show winners Jess Harding and Sammy Root. Amidst this, three couples are going strong - Whitney and Lochan, Molly and Zach and Tyrique and Ella.

While fans speculated Ty and Ella would be the first to split after the show, their relationship has gone from strength to strength outside the villa.

Ella Thomas reveals why Love Island other series 10 couples have split

Ella and Ty came third on the show and their friend Jess and Sammy won - who recently parted ways. On being asked if Ella feels the pressure after seeing other couples split she confidently shared that she doesn’t feel any pressure.

Taking a dig at other couples of the show she told The Sun:

When I see other couples splitting up, it doesn’t make me feel any type of way about my relationship.

Possible taking a dig at Jess and Sammy she added:

The thing with me and Ty was, I always knew we were compatible, even if not for Love Island, he’s the type of guy I would date on the outside.

This comes as Sammy was seen saying ‘Jess is not my type’ multiple times on the show. The 24-year-old added:

We always knew it was going to make sense when we got out anyway.

Other people, it’s like you kind of meet in there and form something in the bubble, but when you get into the real world it can just be different.

After Jess and Sammy’s split, Tyrique was quick to remind people who he thinks should’ve won the show. He posted a series of picture of himself and Ella and captioned it ‘People’s Champs❤️‍🔥’
