Since their memorable wedding in 1999, the two have built on their empire. Victoria is now a well-established fashion designer and David is an entrepreneur as well as the co-owner of football club Inter Miami.

On 4 October 2023, the couple released a documentary on Netflix. One clip went viral.

In the viral clip Victoria is being interviewed and she mentions that she comes from a working-class family.

Be honest

After some seconds of bickering, Victoria finally answers and reveals that:

In the ‘80s my dad had a Rolls-Royce.

In the same clip Victoria claims that the answer to David’s question isn’t a simple one and that got us wondering…

Victoria Beckham’s background

According to various sources, Victoria Adams, her maiden name, doesn’t come from a working-class family. Indeed, in the Cambridge Dictionary, the working class is defined as:

a social group that consists of people who earn little money, often being paid only for the hours or days that they work, and who usually do physical work.

However, that isn’t the case when it comes to Victoria’s parents. Her mother was an insurance clerk and hairdresser while her dad was an electronics engineer. Moreover, Victoria opened up about how her father made a lot of money when he launched his own electronics wholesale business.

In April 2023, Victoria Beckham took to Instagram to show her childhood home. Victoria explained that her parents bought the house as ‘a shell’ but it was later revealed that the house now has several annexes.

While Victoria said that her dad ‘worked really hard to have the money for (them) to have a nice house’ that doesn’t mean that they are working class. Unfortunately for her, ‘working hard’ doesn’t mean working class.
