At the time David was a famous football player and Victoria was part of the music sensation, the Spice Girls.

The couple met at one of David’s matches for Manchester United and since then, they have become a global sensation. Both of them changed careers but they also expanded their family. The couple has 4 children together.

Today, they celebrate their anniversary and both of them decided to share a glimpse into the beginning of their marriage.

On 4 July 1999, football sensation David Beckham and Posh Spice, Victoria Adams, tied the knot in a glamorous and fairy-tale like wedding.

The pictures which they sold to OK! magazine went all over the world and are now a part of pop-culture. These pictures are so iconic that one Instagram user says:

Their wedding was sensational, with matching purple outfits and baroque décor.

On her Instagram Victoria Beckham, shared a video of the couple cutting their wedding cake with a sword. In the caption, the fashion designer gushes over how much she still loves her husband.

David Beckham shares adorable throwback picture

While Victoria Beckham’s post was simple and straight to the point, the former football player expanded a bit more in an Instagram post

David writes:

24 years and counting 👵🏼 👴🏼 To the best wife , mummy & drinking partner ( most of the time 🤪 ) Happy Anniversary love u so much

The picture of the couple when they were much younger has already collected over 400K likes and comments are pouring in. Fans are loving the throwback pic and note how young they look.

The couple has been known over the years to be incredibly supportive of each other’s respective careers. The two were recently spotted in Versailles attending the fashion show for designer Jacquemus.

Throughout the years David and Victoria Beckham have gotten more comfortable sharing glimpses into their personal lives and into their home. Just last week David Beckham shared a video of him and his daughter cooking together.
