Post-operation, this little puppy called Meesha was incredibly frightened and upset. Physically distressed, she couldn't stop crying and shaking.

Staff at BARCS Animal Center in Baltimore, USA filmed a touching scene between a vet and one of his canine patients who was frightened and upset after an operation. This moving footage that has since been viewed millions of times.

One of the assistant vets, Dennis Moses stepped in to comfort the little dog. He took her in his arms and rocked her until she calmed down. Meesha had just woken from an operation and appeared to be struggling to shake off after-effects of the anaesthesia. 

Thank you to Dennis and all the staff who work long, tireless hours in the background of our shelter—saving lives and loving the animals.
