After S Club 7 called it a day back in 2003, the ex-members have gone on to a variety of careers—continuing to sing solo or branching out into acting or reality TV. When Rachel Stevens signed up for next year’s series of Dancing On Ice, we got to wondering what the other members of S Club are up to these days. So where is Jon Lee now?
Jon Lee West End career
Baby-faced Jon was the youngest member of S Club 7. Now aged 39, he’s carved out a successful career as an actor in the West End. He made his debut as Marius in Les Misérablesthe year after S Club split and he’s gone on to appear in a series of other productions, including a three-year stint as Frankie Valli in Jersey Boys.
Away from the stage, Jon also made a guest appearance in Casualty in 2010 and in 2013 he released his own solo pop album titled Fallen Angel.
Jon Lee on Dinner Date
Jon was most recently seen on screen when he made an appearance on Celebrity Dinner Date back in 2018. He admitted on the show that dating opportunities were practically inexistent as a member of S Club 7 due to the busy touring schedule. Revealing his type, he said:
Humour is a massive, massive thing for me. You can have a guy stand there with a six pack and pecs or a guy who looks like an average Joe Bloggs, but if he’s funny, I’d pick him every single time.
While he wasn’t recognised by any of his dates, two of them were a little star-struck when he revealed he used to be in S Club 7. Ultimately, though, Jon chose to have a second date with his third date Jordan—who was American and had never even heard of S Club. Sadly, though, things didn’t work out as it was revealed they never saw each other again.
