Laura Kuenssberg

Laura Kuenssberg is an award-winning journalist. She first began her career at NBC News while completing a journalism degree at Georgetown University. In 2015, Kuenssberg was appointed BBC’s political editor, making her the first woman to ever hold that position.

Laura Kuenssberg was born in Italy but grew up in Glasgow. She studied history at the University of Edinburgh. She then moved to Washington DC where she studied journalism at Georgetown University and worked at NBC News.

Laura Kuenssberg is married

Laura Kuenssberg is married to James Kelly, a management consultant. Kelly also studied at the University of Edinburgh. After graduating, Kelly moved to the US and studied at Havard University.

The pair currently live in East London and haven’t had any children. Despite Kuenssberg being a journalist, James Kelly prefers to keep his life private and would rather stay out of the public eye.
