The National Television Awards took place on Thursday 9 September and as well as the awards themselves, one of the big talking points was JLS’ performance of their new single 'Eternal Love.' After announcing they were reforming in 2019, Oritsé, Marvin, JB and Aston are finally performing together again.
The new single was released on 3 September and rose to number four in the UK charts. But not everyone was impressed with their performance at the O2 for the NTAs. One viewer tweeted:
Nah surely I’m not hearing this. that JLS performance is dreadful x #NTAs

However, others were loving it—especially when they performed a throwback to one of their biggest hits, 'Everybody In Love.' One fan tweeted:
JLS performing at the NTAs is something I never knew I needed
While another said:
JLS are still the bollocks aren’t they #NTAs
After signing a record deal with BMG, JLS will be releasing their fifth studio album—titled2.0—this December. They’re also set to go on a UK tour which starts in Glasgow on 20 October. They’ll also be heading back to London’s O2 on 4-5 and 19-20 November before ending the tour in Birmingham on November 27.
Who are JLS?
If you’re too young to remember—or just need your memory refreshing—JLS rose to fame on The X Factor, long before any of us had heard of One Direction. They came second to Alexandra Burke in 2008 and released four studio albums plus a greatest hits album together before splitting in 2013.
