The brunette bombshell, who has since garnered a large social media following, has called out Love Island bosses for a lack of diversity and representation.

'I felt so old'

At the time of filming, Reynolds says she was branded the oldest and curviest—despite being a mere size 10 back then. Now, as series eight of the hit matchmaking reality TV show prepares to make its comeback, she is urging bosses of the show to cast all different types of bodies. In an interview with MirrorOnline, the 31-year-old explained:

I was like a granny when I was on Love Island. I was 28 and all the people were like 18. I felt so old. I remember coming out of Love Island and I was probably one of the biggest sizes I've ever been. I still wasn't big but everyone was being like oh, how did it feel to be the curviest islander?'

Before adding:

I thought 'are you joking?' This is so bad for young girls if you're saying I'm curvy. What are you putting in their brains? I want it to be more diverse, put in people of all shapes and sizes. I would like to see different sexualities. Obviously you don't want an 18-year-old being set-up with someone in their thirties but I would like to see different ages, within a bracket.

Years of struggling with body image issues

In the interview, the now lingerie designer, who has just launched her latest collection for Pour Moi, explains that after many years of struggling with body image issues, she has finally learned to love what she looks like.

She also went on to say that, though her weight has fluctuated up and down throughout her life, she no longer compares herself to other bodies. Instead, she practices self-love and accepts her body as it is.
