On Facebook, a young woman of 27 years old had a rant about the stupidity of clothes sizing.
Deena Shoemaker probably did not expect to create such hype on social media sites with her Facebook post which was shared 90,000 times about the ridiculousness and arbitrariness of clothes sizes in shops.
According to her, it is because of this that some girls have complexes about their weight. “Your size does not determine your beauty, but your life, yes. The size written on your clothes is specific to your personal choices when it comes to the fashion industry and can change very quickly. Stop believing social norms that tell you who you are or who you should be,” she wrote.
To prove this, she decided to do an experiment. She tried on three pairs of shorts and three pairs of jeans in different sizes. And what was the result? She fit in all the sizes, from a size 10 to a size 16! The best possible proof.
