Recipe #1: A scrub for the body
Ingredients: 1/2 cucumber, a few basil leaves, 2 tbsp. olive oil, 4 tbsp. tablespoons sugar
After peeling and cutting your half cucumber, place the peel in a blender, add a few basil leaves and mix. Once the preparation is puréeed, pour it into a bowl then add 2 tablespoons of olive oil and 4 tablespoons of sugar (to be adapted according to the desired texture). Mix everything and apply the scrub in a circular motion on the body. Then, rinse.
The dead skin is gone; thanks to the oil contained in the scrub, your skin will be soft and hydrated.
Recipe #2: A concealer balm
Ingredients: 1/2 cucumber, Vaseline (or other lip balms)
After peeling and cutting your half cucumber, place the peels in a blender. Once the cucumber is mixed, pour the mixture into a bowl and add the Vaseline until a thick cream is obtained. Mix everything. Leave the balm one hour in the fridge then apply it under the eyes. Leave for about fifteen minutes then rinse thoroughly.
Recipe #3: An anti-acne mask
After peeling and cutting your half cucumber, place the peels in a blender. Add a half plain yogurt (or a white cheese). Blend everything until you have a smooth cream. Apply on the face, avoiding the eye area. Leave for about fifteen minutes then rinse thoroughly.
Full of water, the cucumber will moisturise and cleanse your skin. Bye-bye to dull complexion; your face will be instantly brighter!
All these recipes must be kept cool and used within one week of preparation.
