The winter months will be getting much colder this year and everyone must take precautious measures to keep their family and pets warm. However, in Ohio this wasn't the case for a family pet. Without even thinking, the owners left their dog outside with no insulation and the dog ended up passing away due to the severly cold temperatures. As a result, the owners will be charged a fine for animal cruelty.
The sheriff would like to remind everyone that freezing to death is a horrible way for an animal to die and he urges families to take care of their pets. And if they are unable to take care of their pets then they need to contact the police department for assistance.
