Molly Mae Admits She Was 'Surprised' She And Tommy Didn't Win Love Island

Love Island 2019 runner-up Molly Mae Hague has made some surprising confessions to her fans in a new YouTube video - including admitting she went on Love Island for business.

Molly Mae Hague and Tommy Fury are the only Love Island 2019 couple who are still together less than a year on. Whilst the couple still seem to be going strong, Molly Mae has now admitted she didn't really go on the show looking for love.

This week Molly Mae shared a YouTube video responding to 'assumptions' about her sent in by fans. When one said: 'You went on Love Island as a business move', she admitted: 'That's a good one actually... Yeah I did, if I am being completely honest.'

She continued:

I went on there not really bothered if I found love or not, I found love... When you're not looking for something you find it. Out of all the girls, I was really chilled like: 'If it happens it happens, if it doesn't it doesn't, either way it'll be a fun experience'.

In another surprising revelation, Molly Mae also admitted that she was surprised that Amber Gill and Greg O'Shea pipped her and Tommy to Love Island victory.

She said:

Surprised I didn't win Love Island? It's a really hard one to answer but if I had to straight away I would probably say yes, just because Tommy and I had been the only couple to go from the start to the end… If I am honest, when we didn't win that's when I realised the hate on the outside is really bad, that was my initial reaction.
