Before becoming pregnant, Meghan Markle had her own routine for taking care of her body.
With her mum being a yoga teacher, it was difficult for Meghan Markle not to go along the downward dog route! From the age of seven, the Duchess of Sussex went through a few postures with her mother before continuing to practice more regularly. Before coming to England, she practiced yoga with Duncan Parvianen, who confessed that Meghan Markle was rather shy but, by trusting him, managed to master the poses. Practising yoga allows the Duchess to work on her mental focus, her self-confidence and her muscular strength while learning to eliminate stress!
Healthy eating, but not restrictive at all
In an interview with Besthealthmag, she said that she has a healthy diet without restricting herself. She loves to eat crisps, but favours a vegetarian diet during the week so that she can indulge on weekends. As always, it's about finding the right balance between enjoyment and health!
Even during her pregnancy, Meghan Markle has continued doing yoga to help prepare for a gentle birth. As she loves this discipline, she was even able to convince Prince Harry to join in, which surprised his family no end. It seems that the couple are considering building a yoga studio!
Yoga, Meditation, Healthy Eating and Pleasure seem to be the Duchess of Sussex’s motto for well-being in her body and mind! Inspiring, isn’t it?
