Amber Gill has got to be one of our favourite Islanders in history. After winning the show in 2019, she’s clearly still a big fan as she’s been tweeting her thoughts on Love Island 2021 every evening. This week, she was left unimpressed by Brad McLelland’s behaviour towards Rachel Finni.

What did Brad do?
Rachel saved Brad from being dumped in Monday’s episode by choosing to couple up with him over Chuggs. But after grafting Rachel and insisting she was just his type, his head has been completely turned by new bombshell Lucinda Strafford. Brad told Lucinda this week:
For the first time, I’ve literally been like, 'Jesus Christ, I’d be buzzing to get into bed with her.' I’ve never had that. I think you’re absolutely stunning. You honestly are.
Amber was not impressed by this, tweeting:
Na Brad just lied?????? You said Rachel was your type????
She followed this up with:
Brad put ya tongue back in your mouth hun.
I hope Lucinda knows if she couples up with Brad they are getting booted out ASAP #LoveIsland second time lucky.
Amber Gill’s secret connection to Brad McLelland
Amber actually has a connection to fellow Geordie Brad. When Brad was announced as part of the Love Island 2021 line-up, Amber teased in a tweet:
Brad was speaking to one of my friends at some point. But let’s keep that between me you. Love u bye.
However, she refused to elaborate on the goss in a recent interview on Capital FM, saying:
Oh no! I can’t say anything but there’s a connection somewhere. He’s obviously from ten minutes down the road, so somebody that I know was speaking to him but they weren’t dating. I’ve been made aware that it wasn’t a dating kind of thing. Also, I don’t want to lose my friendship so that’s all I can say on the matter.
