However, as reported by Today, this spring, McDonald’s is going to be introducing one of its super hit menu items from Singapore. It’s a brand-new McFlurry called the Strawberry Shortcake McFlurry.

New about the new McFlurry broke on social media
It was through the Instagram account @Snackolator, which publishes snack news, that fans first heard rumours of the new McDonald’s addition. It created a lot of buzz among McDonald’s fans who hoped that the rumours turn out to be true.
The account has now announced that indeed McDonald’s has just confirmed the addition of Strawberry Shortcake McFlurry to its menu in the US from April 12.
The account shared a photo of the new McFlurry with the caption,
Beginning April 12th, you will be able to get the new Strawberry Shortcake McFlurry nationwide and it will include vanilla soft serve mixed with strawberry flavored clusters and buttery shortbread cookies.

The new Strawberry Shortcake McFlurry
McDonald’s USA spokesperson described their new menu item to Today saying,
McDonald’s new Strawberry Shortcake McFlurry features our signature creamy vanilla soft serve, strawberry-flavored clusters and crispy, buttery shortbread cookies.
Some other variations of the McFlurry which has been hugely popular with fans include the Oreo McFlurry, the M&M's McFlurry, and the Reese's McFlurry. The new Strawberry Shortcake McFlurry is also expected to join this list of fan favourites once it is released.
