Lidl has used data from last year to determine the best time to shop during Easter K. Mitch Hodge

When is the best time to go?

As reported by Yorkshire Evening Post, Lidl has come up with some truly useful stats for its customers. The supermarket giant saw about a million new customers last Easter, and has since used the data at its disposal to come up with some interesting data.

Lidl’sdata shows that there is in fact such a thing as the ideal time to shop peacefully without being assailed by massive crowds at supermarkets during the Easter period.

The data collected last year shows that the quietest times to shop were between 8am and 10am, and from 6pm onwards.

Saturday was found to be the busiest day at supermarkets, with the highest levels of footfall being between 10am-1pm. If you absolutely must shop on a Saturday, wait till the noon when the level of crowd starts tapering off.
