Some like to drink it, others use it for household chores. What is it? Vodka! Who would have thought that this alcoholic beverage could be so versatile? You'll be surprised by all the ways you can use vodka to keep your home clean.

As a grout cleaner: Spray the grout in the bathroom with pure vodka. Then leave to react and remove residues.
Pesticides: Wash the plants with water, then dab the infested leaves with a cotton pad soaked in vodka.
Smooth surfaces: Vodka can be used to polish fittings, glass and porcelain. It not only removes limescale but also disinfects at the same time. A streak-free effect is guaranteed.
Get rid of sticky residues: Simply rub a cloth soaked in vodka over the affected area until nothing is visible.
To clean a chandelier: A tablespoon of vodka mixed with 500 ml of water can be sprayed on the chandelier. Just lay down a cloth to catch any excess.
Stain remover: Rub a cloth soaked in vodka over the stained piece of clothing and wash in clean water.
Shining silver: Soak jewellery, silverware or other silver objects for 5 minutes in pure vodka. Then rinse and let dry. They'll look like new!
Removing soap residue: If you spray the soap residues with vodka and let it work for a few minutes, you can clean the sink and tiles perfectly.
